  • Festive Movie Night: Gather your nearest and dearest for a cozy movie night filled with holiday classics. Snuggle up with blankets, sip on hot cocoa, and let the magic of seasonal films create lasting memories. Is your family spread across the country or unable to travel? Try bringing everyone together by connecting virtually!
  • Potluck Dinner: Invite family and friends to contribute their favorite holiday dishes for a fun potluck dinner! Share recipes, stories, and laughter as you savor the diverse flavors and the warmth of each other's company.
  • Holiday Crafting: Embrace the spirit of the season by engaging in holiday-themed crafts. Whether it's making festive decorations, crafting personalized ornaments, or creating handmade gifts, the act of crafting brings a special warmth to the holiday season. Not to mention it will keep your hands busy and active!
  • Baking Extravaganza: Spend quality time in the kitchen baking holiday treats. From gingerbread cookies to classic fruitcakes, the aroma of freshly baked goodies is sure to create a festive atmosphere in your home.

And of course, don’t forget to stay hydrated! Drink plenty of water, herbal teas, and warm broths during the colder months to keep hydration levels up and nourish your body.

How We Can Help

Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP)

Under New York’s Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program, also known as CDPAP, you can take charge of your home health care by selecting a caregiver that you know and trust.

You even have the flexibility to create your own schedule and allocate your insurance-approved home care hours in whatever way works for you. This way, those who care for their chronically ill or physically disabled loved one can get the compensation they need and deserve.

Our team is ready to answer your questions and guide you through this process. You have enough to worry about. Let us take care of the details. We’ll verify your eligibility, help you register and choose your caregiver, and obtain authorization from the Medicaid plan of your choosing. Discover the Attending Home Care difference—where care meets choice, and your home is at the heart of it all.

Best of all? It only takes one phone call to get started.
